Anime can be found in most video stores. One of the best to find it at is Suncoast Motion Picture Co. They have a whole aisle of anime, both subbed and dubbed. In addition, they carry cool little collectables for Powerpuff Girls, Sailor Moon, and Dragon Ball Z. If you want to rent a video, Blockbuster has a pretty good selection out of most stores. In addition, you can get some really neat anime things from some Asian import stores.
The best way to shop for anime is on the web. That way it doesn't matter where you live ^_^
Here are some helpful addresses:
www.suncoast.com - That store with the aisles...they also have the equivalent of that on the web.
www.animevillage.com - Lots of products and fun stuff, too.
www.advfilms.com - This site is home to the wonderful people of ADV Films who bring us many of our favorite anime.
www.aesearch.cjb.net - Totally cool site that helps you find other sites with anime episodes to DOWNLOAD...FREE!!!
Manga...well, basically it is a Japanese comic. Most anime shows are also portrayed in a manga. Sometimes it is better to read the manga (or at least read the manga in addition) because it contains the whole story, including the stuff the dubbers might have removed. The best manga producers are Mixx, Clamp, and Blackhorse. These can be found at most any comic book store. They will be in English, though. The good Japanese ones can sometimes be found in import stores or Asian food stores.
